Aura Season 1: Weeks 4 & 5 — The Interlude

Aura Season 1 kicked off with incredible momentum — thousands of participants, native Common actions completed, and thousands of Aura distributed across communities.
Weeks 4 and 5 were different… a moment of pause, a quiet interlude.
Instead of piling on new quests, we focused on the foundations: improving reliability, scaling infrastructure, and shipping long-term upgrades to the Common protocol and questing system.
You may have seen fewer quests, but a lot was happening behind the scenes.
🛠 What We Focused On
- Fixing fragility in external quests: We overhauled the infrastructure that powers Twitter and Discord quests to reduce bugs and increase consistency.
- Prepping for scale: We upgraded the backend to support a higher volume of quests, increased partner flexibility, and improved quest lifecycle tools.
- Building for the ecosystem: We’re rolling out better tools for ecosystem partners to launch, manage, and measure quests natively within Common.
🌱 What’s Ahead
As we come out of this interlude, Aura is about to scale up.
- More quests. More partners. More native Common activity.
- Better experiences for users — fewer broken quests, better rewards, smoother flows.
- Expanding to new communities and unlocking more ways to participate.
And here’s something else to look forward to:
Aura is being extended beyond the original 8-week timeline.
Participation has been strong, partner interest is growing, and the use cases are expanding — so Aura will continue to evolve and grow with the ecosystem.
The interlude is over. Let’s get back to the action.
