Private Key Access is Now Live for Magic Wallet Users

We’ve made a major upgrade to wallet usability on Common.
As of today, all users who log in with SSO + Magic Wallet can now access their private keys directly from the Common interface.
That means: You don’t need a browser extension. You don’t need to manage seed phrases. You still own your keys.
Why this matters
Wallet UX has been one of the biggest blockers for onchain participation. Common makes it seamless—while still letting you take full control when needed.
Whether you want to plug into another dApp, back up your key, or migrate wallets, now you can do it without friction.
Here’s how it works:
- Click your username in the top right
- Press "Reveal Private Keys"
- Agree to the Terms of Service
- Your key is displayed securely in-app
We’ve also made it easy to manage your addresses from the profile sidebar. Click your profile → Scroll to “Addresses” → Copy or view on-chain.
Secure, flexible, user-first
This feature is part of our larger vision: make Web3 community tools powerful without compromising usability. Private key access gives you the flexibility of full control, without losing the onboarding simplicity Common is known for.
