Introducing Voices of Common: Rewarding Quality Content Creators

We're evolving how we recognize and reward community members who amplify what's happening on Common.
Content Clippers is now Voices of Common - a curated, invite-only program for creators who consistently produce high-quality content about Common, our communities, and the ecosystem we're building.
Why We're Making This Change
The old Content Clippers program had good intentions, but it wasn't designed to scale effectively or prioritize our most impactful creators. What started as a group of ~15 dedicated creators grew to 81 members, with thousands of tweets to review each week. The signal-to-noise ratio deteriorated, making it difficult to recognize and reward the community's highest-quality contributions.
We saw:
- Volume over quality becoming the norm
- Difficulty identifying and rewarding truly impactful content
- Diluted community standards
- Unsustainable review processes
Voices of Common fixes this by prioritizing quality, consistency, and genuine community contribution over pure output volume.
How Voices of Common Works
Getting In
Voices of Common is invite-only and private. We're looking for community members who are already creating thoughtful content about Common, web3 communities, and the broader ecosystem.
To be considered, you need to grow your Discord Content Creator rank through the three-tier leveling system. This ensures participants understand what we're building and have proven their ability to contribute meaningfully.
Submission Process
At the end of each week, participants submit their Common-related content through a form. Our team reviews submissions and issues Aura rewards every Monday based on impact and quality.
The Leaderboard
A private leaderboard tracks the Top 10 participants based on Aura earned through the program. This leaderboard is publicly announced at the end of each month and resets for the next cycle.
Top 10 performers receive bonus Aura rewards, with payouts ranging from 100-500 Aura depending on final ranking.
Rewards Structure
Voices of Common uses a quality-over-quantity approach to rewards. Here's how it works:
Impression-Based Aura Rewards
Content is rewarded based on verified reach and impact:

- Viral reach (>50k impressions): 300 Aura (stackable)
Weekly cap: 200 Aura maximum from impressions/content (excluding viral content rewards)
