Why This Matters
Onchain participation should be as easy as sending a Venmo. But for many new users, buying crypto and funding a wallet is still the biggest blocker. With MoonPay, we're changing that.
Now, whether you're a contributor, voter, or just getting started, you can top up your Magic wallet directly inside the platform using your credit card, Apple Pay, or bank transfer.
How It Works
From any community on Common:
- Log in using SSO (Magic)
- Click the wallet icon in the top right
- Open the Wallet Manager
- Choose “Deposit Funds via MoonPay”
- Select your token (ETH or USDC on Base) and complete the checkout
Funds are sent straight to your Common wallet. No need to leave the app.
Note: This feature is only available for Magic (SSO) users. If you’re connected via MetaMask or another external wallet, you’ll need to fund it manually.

Once your wallet is funded with ETH on Base, you can:
